Our Mission

OUR MISSION

The condition of this world is one of hopelessness apart from the Lord Jesus Christ and can only be changed by the power of the Gospel. Beacon of Truth Baptist Ministries was established to help send the message of salvation around the world. Our mandate is clear, "GO YE INTO ALL THE WORLD AND PREACH THE GOSPEL TO EVERY CREATURE." (Mark 16:15) Therefore it is imperative that we get the message of salvation to the entire world.

THE DILEMMA

The population of the world is growing at an unprecedented rate. With over 7 billion people in the world, it is estimated that over 4 billion are lost. To compound the dilemma, a large part of the population has yet to receive a translated copy of the Gospel in their native language. In addition, many missionaries and national workers are limited in reaching their area with the Gospel because of limited funds and a scarcity of sound Gospel literature printed in the languages of the people.

OUR DESIRE

Beacon of Truth Baptist Ministries is dedicated to equipping God's servants with sound Gospel literature that will aid them in reaching the lost for Christ. Since 1992, we have been able to provide millions of Gospel tracts and portions of Scripture to faithful servants of Christ. These little "paper missionaries" have traveled to many parts of the world telling the "good news" of the Gospel that individuals might have an opportunity to hear about Christ and receive Him as their Saviour. As God enables us, it is our desire to expand our outreach into every part of the world, telling the message of salvation. Knowing that opportunity to reach the world for Christ could end at any moment, it compels us to press on with a deep sense of urgency. THE OPPORTUNITY IS NOW!

OUR DEPENDENCE

We depend upon God to stir the hearts of His people to partner with us in this urgent task of reaching the world with the Gospel. We need the prayers of God's people and because we are a faith-based ministry, we depend upon churches and individuals to make investment in our work for the sake of lost souls. Through our combined efforts and our commitment to world evangelization, we can reach the world with the gospel before it is too late. OUR DIRECTIVES

The "VISION" of Beacon of Truth Baptist Ministries:

  1. EQUIP - God's servants with gospel literature to aid them in reaching the lost for Christ.

  2. ENGAGE - God's servants and train them in the great task of Gospel literature distribution in their particular area.

  3. ENHANCE - the local church and its missionaries by helping them with their printing needs.

  4. ENLIST - churches to become "Partners in Publishing" to stand with us in world evangelization.
